Demonstrations & Activities Schedule

The MKE Studio Tour is more than an opportunity to view and purchase handcrafted artwork—it’s a chance to experience the creative process firsthand! Throughout the weekend, participating studios will offer live demonstrations and additional activities, giving visitors a closer look at the techniques, tools, and traditions behind the finished work.

2026 Demonstrations & Activities Schedule

Saturday ONly

Sunday ONLY

  • “Make Your Own Fall Watercolor Greeting Card” by Dorothee Pfundt & Karen Elwing at Tour Stop #5

    • Visitors will be able to pick from a number of fall leaves, trace a leaf on watercolor paper, let their creativity rain free, and fill their composition in with watercolors. Folding the paper and adding an envelope completes this little art project, ready to be taken home. The craft table will be open during the tour hours as long as supplies last.

Both Saturday & Sunday

From watching artists at work to discovering processes you may have never seen before, these special activities are part of what makes a studio tour such a personal experience. As you plan your self-guided route, keep an eye out for demonstrations and activities happening at individual stops and add a few to your weekend itinerary!
