Yesica Coria is a visual artist and a graduate of the Universidad Veracruzana with a specialization in graphic design.

She has been working with art, and specifically with corn husk, since 2012, 14 years of dedicated practice. Her work with this material began as a way to reconnect with her roots and cultural heritage after living in the United States for 19 years.

Over the years, Yesica has explored a variety of expressions with corn husk: from dolls and flowers to sculptures, functional objects, and textured pieces, developing a personal language that blends tradition, research, and contemporary creativity.
