MKE Studio Tour returns with a Behind the scenes look at 18 studios and nearly 50 Artists

Interviews in Five Segments with CBS’s Amanda Becker: Tour Stop 12 with Carra Terra and Tour Stop 13 with Christopher Stevens and Stephanie Bartz

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Get inspired during the Milwaukee Studio Tour this Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6. You can follow a map of 18 different studios throughout Milwaukee that will open their doors and show you how they create.

From pottery to metalwork and jewelry making, you can see how it's done. Some of the studios are even inside artist homes.

"That's what makes the Milwaukee studio tour so special. Since we do work out of our home, we don't normally have it open to the public all of the time," said Rebecca Carra.

Carra Terra is the name of Franceso and Rebecca's pottery business. They will also host two other artists in their space.

"There's host studios throughout the Milwaukee Studio Tour, which gives you a behind the scenes of their particular medium, which for
us is clay, but then each studio also has guest artists and that might not be the same medium. So, we do have another potter, but we also have a fabric artist that will be joining us."

There will be 50 artists in total. The event goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5 and Oct. 6.
