Krista V. Allenstein

Krista V. Allenstein is a Milwaukee area oil painter who loves words. She enjoys finding opportunities to fit words into paintings of old buildings, miniature dollhouses, gas station displays and other overlooked subjects. Her favorite thing is making people laugh as they view her art. A graduate of The School of Visual Arts (NYC), Krista has had the opportunity to participate in exhibitions at the 37th Annual Northern National Art Competition, Lakefront Festival of the Arts (in 2023 as the featured poster artist), Des Moines Arts Festival, Columbus Arts Festival, Arts Festival, Madison Art Fair Off the Square, Cincinnati Artfest, Free Range Art, Frank Juarez Gallery, Gallery 2622, MARN Gallery, 2020 Wisconsin Artist Biennial, and a 2019-2020 ARTservancy and MARN mentor/mentee appointments.
