Kathleen's work is a study of color and design in decorative and functional fiber, utilizing machine piecing and free motion quilting. It is based on a lifetime of sewing and color immersion, and exploration of the relationship between traditional quilting methods and modern materials and techniques.
Kathleen has been exhibiting in art and fine craft shows since 2004, including the prestigious American Craft Exhibition. Her quilts are in the collection of Promega, and have been purchased by patrons across the US, as well as in Europe, Western Australia, and Canada. Kathleen's quilts have also been exhibited at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts.
