Jan is an artist, teacher, and lifelong learner. She is a thing-maker. She’s been wet felting for about 12 years, making nuno felted scarves and useable art. Lately, she’s making botanical contact prints. Leaves, silk, dyes. Some are eco prints, using natural dyes. Being able to leave an imprint of something once living, making the impermanent permanent is priceless. It connects Jan and all who see her work, with nature in a new way.
