Originally from Wichita, KS., Eric Melton-White is a studio ceramics artist. He studied art at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA, has worked as a furniture and cabinet maker, and carpenter, has create illuminated public artwork, has shown large format photography, and taught environmental art. He is a self-taught artist and has been working in ceramics consistently since 2022. Eric is a fulltime studio artist based at The Kiln Shed, a 70-person pottery studio in Madison, Wisconsin. He makes ceramic pottery and sculptures and is known for strong defined forms and textural pieces.
