Pottery has a life long of Diane's as she and her husband have for over 50 years. At retirement, Diane fulfilled a life long dream of learning to make her own pottery. Five years after taking her first pottery class, Diane started selling her pieces to others. Pottery that is both decorative and functional is her primary goal. Diane mixes textures, glazing techniques and usability to create interest. In 2025 Diane has been exploring the glaze technique called Frozen Pond (created by Kathy McGuire) on her pieces.
