Gilfalo Art Design creates hand-carved linoleum block prints that blend bold illustration with the spirit of live music. Chris and Dani’s work is rooted in storytelling. Each poster is a visual narrative that captures the soul of a band, a place, or a moment in time. With a focus on texture, symbolism, and strong composition, they use traditional linocut techniques to build intricate worlds in black-and-white or limited color palettes. They believe in the power of handmade art to connect people… to make them stop, look closer, and feel something real.

Chris runs Gilfalo Art Design with his wife Dani, and together they’ve turned their love of music and printmaking into a collaborative studio practice. Based in Milwaukee, they’ve created concert posters and custom festival artwork for bands and events across the country, with a growing following of collectors and music lovers. Influenced by nature and vintage poster design, their work aims to merge the old-school grit of relief printing with modern, genre-bending aesthetics.

Whether it’s a night sky full of aliens, a California travel map, or a puzzle piece lost by the tracks, each design is carved with intention and printed by hand. Every poster tells a story….their’s, the band’s, and hopefully, the viewer’s too.
