Catherine Laing started making jewelry in eighth grade. She graduated from Cornell College with a degree in Art Metals in 1975. Strongly influenced by travel and study in Denmark and the American Southwest, her jewelry reflects both styles. Her designs are also inspired by natural gemstones, pearls and shells. Catherine has been in Cedarburg Wisconsin since 1980. She went from The Gem Shop to The Brewery Works Stables to The Pagoda until 2017. She now works in a studio; and sells at Edgewood Orchard Galleries (since 1982!) in Fish Creek, Door County, Wisconsin. She is also in The Pink Llama Gallery in Cedarburg.
